Mic It Up is Veronica Arts Media’s dynamic podcasting program designed to empower students ages 11–18 to find their voice, sharpen their storytelling skills, and engage in real-world media production. Through hands-on workshops led by professional teaching artists, students learn the art of podcast creation—from ideation and scripting to recording, editing, and publishing. Each participant leaves with a portfolio-ready episode that reflects their unique perspective, community insights, or creative expression. More than just a technical training, Mic It Up builds confidence, communication skills, and media literacy—giving young people the tools to speak up, lead conversations, and shape culture on their own terms.
